Settler

Completed 1st – 3rd grades (ages 8-10) 

Develop independence and self confidence as they experience CYC for the first time!

Daily activities include: art, archery, slingshots, canoe and kayak, paddle boats, paddle boards, fishing, swimming, nature, dance, drama, creative writing, sports, music and much more!

All camp activities include group games, campfires, a weekly dance party, talent show and theme activities each week.

Daily prayer, weekly mass and a focus on faith

Trailblazer

Completed 4th-6th grades (ages 11-12)

Expand knowledge of core activities (art, archery, slingshots, canoe and kayak, paddle boats, paddle boards, fishing, swimming, nature,  dance, drama, creative writing, sports, music, etc.) as programming progresses for each age group.

See camp friends from previous summers and develop new friendships!

Build upon skills gained as a Settler to expand creative thinking.


Pathfinder

Completed 7th -9th grades (ages 13-15) 

Continue the CYC adventure!

Grow in faith through deeper reflection and more meaningful conversation.

Enjoy the same great CYC core activities with more intensity and higher challenge.

Advance in problem-solving skills, and confidence and leadership abilities while being a role model for younger campers.


Leader-in-Training

Completed 9th – 10th grades (ages 15-16)

1-week program

Team building, communication and leadership activities, personal reflection, all camp activities, assist counselors in leading activities

Ideal for: teens interested in service, leadership or a future with camp.


Counselor-in-Training

Completed 11th-12th grades (ages 17-18)

2-week program (with a break to go home over the weekend)

Week 1 – service project, team building and leadership activities, goal setting and professionalism

Week 2- live in cabins, assist staff in camper supervision, lead activities

CITs continue the work of LITs, but prior LIT experience is not required.

Ideal for: teens interested in service, leadership or a future with camp.
