Who can attend CYC’s Swing into Spring?

Anyone and everyone is welcome!  We wanted to ensure an event that would be appealing to all ages and stages of life!

Why do I need to RSVP?

To make sure we’re fully prepared and able to provide the best experience for everyone, RSVPs are essential. CYC has access to a limited number of Top Golf bays, food and beverage items, and private function space, and we want to ensure there’s enough of everything for everyone to enjoy the fun and fellowship. Unfortunately, we won’t be able to accommodate walk-ins due to Top Golf’s policies capacity. We truly appreciate your understanding, and we’re so grateful that you’re taking the time to RSVP and save your spot for what’s sure to be a fantastic day!

What is the cost to attend?

CYC has set an ambitious fundraising goal for 2025 — a thrilling $150,000! While we’re aiming high, we’re also excited to make this event accessible for all families, couples and individuals. In the spirit of inclusivity, we’re not charging an admission fee — instead, we’re inviting you to contribute through a donation. The suggested donation is $75 per adult (18+), but of course, any contribution is appreciated as we come together to make a lasting impact. Let’s hit this goal and make 2025 unforgettable!

Why does CYC need to raise money at all?

If CYC was to have a relatively full summer with 80 campers per week in attendance and charge the true cost per camper, CYC would need to charge close to $1100 per camper.  2025 finds CYC in a rebuilding year, which means the chances of absolutely filling every week of camp with campers is lower, and it is essential now more than ever to find ways to help offset the operational and administrative realities of running a non-profit summer camp that is hopeful to hit 80 years of age by 2027.  The number one question from potential families CYC gets is, “Does CYC offer scholarships?” and it’s heartbreaking to be in a position where CYC cannot offer even more financial assistance and bring the tuition down even lower.  Your donations truly matter when it comes to seeing CYC into its future!

I have a company and would like to sponsor your event – how can I do that?

CYC offers sponsorship opportunities for $2,500 per Top Golf Bay.  In addition to all event amenities this also includes a dedicated Top Golf Bay for unlimited play for 6-8 people during the fundraiser. Sponsors will have their company logo featured on our website, in event promotional materials, and at the event. Additionally, your company will receive one camper scholarship for any summer 2025 camp session.  If being a Top Golf Bay Sponsor is not an option for your company, you are welcome to submit an in kind donation that will go towards our Silent Auction. Is there a dress code at Top Golf?

Nope!  Feel free to dress in casual attire or whatever is comfortable. Be aware Top Golf is an outdoor/indoor venue, with all golf bays outdoors.  Dress appropriately for the (sometimes sudden changing Minnesota) weather.

Where can I park?

There is ample parking to the north, east and south of the Top Golf building.

How can I win the contest for a FREE session of camp in 2025?

CYC will be raffling off a FREE session of camp in 2025 at the event.  For every guest you bring you will receive ONE raffle entry.  Guests MUST RSVP in order to attend. Raffle draw will happen at 4:30pm the day of the event.

Is there an order of events for the fundraiser?

The event officially kicks off at 2:00 PM, but feel free to come and go as you please during the afternoon we’ve packed with fun and relaxation! Whether you’re a golfer or not, there’s something for everyone—enjoy unlimited Top Golf play, dive into indoor lawn and board games, or simply relax and mingle with fellow CYC supporters. It’s the perfect way to unwind and make lasting memories with family and friends! To make the most of the day, don’t miss these key moments:

  • 3:30 PM: An official address by Erika Haveman, CYC’s Executive Director
  • 4:30 PM: Raffle draw for the FREE camp session
  • 4:45 PM: Silent Auction closes
