Superhero Wednesday!

A busy day of friendship and fun!

Another exciting day of activities! The fishing group was BUSY reeling them in (a good day for biting!) the art group was working on projects galore drama and dance are in full preparation for the talent show tomorrow throwers were alternating between hitting bullseyes and keeping cool by getting sprayed down by the hose and everyone was having a blast!

The temperature and humidity are high and that was good news for campers who love to swim! This afternoon we added an “all camp swim” hour and nearly everyone headed down to the beach. Even the entire lead staff jumped in and cooled down! For those who weren’t interested in swimming they were busy in the art barn with lanyards and adding on to their superhero costumes!

Dinner was delicious BBQ chicken (yum!) and then it was on to the FABULOUS campfire! Even more exciting was this week was a SUPERHERO COSTUME CAMPFIRE!!! Everyone had a chance to get on-stage and share their superhero name and super power. After the fashion show (”Super Robert” was the ultimate winner earning his cabin spirit points!) we made s’mores heard some superhero jokes and trivia watched an AMAZING counselor show (they showed off their mind reading abilities!) and sang lots of songs!

We’re having a blast and can’t wait for more adventures!
